Lindeman's Cleaning, was founded in June of 1951 by
Walter J. Lindemann. The company was first located at
105 South Mason, on the corner of Walnut and Madison.
The next year Walter's son, Ken, joined the business.
Lindeman's Cleaning moved to its present location at
1231 South Monroe in March of 1958.
After Walter passed away in November of 1968, Ken assumed
the tradition of nearly 20 years of quality dry cleaning.
With the assistance of the dedicated associates he expanded
the business, opening several new locations around the
Green Bay area.

In September of 1975, Dennis Schmitt was hired as a
part-time associate. In April of 1987, after 12 years
at Lindeman's, Dennis became a partner. In 1998, Ken
Lindemann retired after 46 years in the business. For
the past few years Dennis and his wife, Patti, have
owned and operated Lindeman's Cleaning. Together with
their family and loyal associates, they have opened
Lindeman's Convenience Centers throughout the area.

| After 50 plus years in business, Lindeman's continues
to improve and expand, offering a complete line of cleaning
services including dry cleaning, laundry, leather cleaning,
shoe repair, drapery cleaning and rehanging, alterations
and repairs, fire restoration, seasonal storage, wedding
gown preservation and more. Lindeman's Cleaning celebrated
50 years in business in 2001. Everyone at Lindeman's
looks forward to serving the Green Bay area. |
